About Varenya Sri Mudumba
I'm a CS graduate student at Texas A&M University (GPA 4.0/4.0). I most recently researched at Corelight, where I built AI-agent systems for automated malware analysis and YARA rule generation, and previously shipped cloud-infrastructure, test-automation, and secure-access features as an SDE at Zscaler. My hardware-security research at NIT Durgapur led to an IEEE publication.
I'm drawn to hard problems at the boundary of security and AI: malware analysis and detection, the security of AI agents and LLM systems, applied machine learning, and cryptography. I enjoy working across the stack, from low-level systems code to ML training pipelines, and turning research ideas into tools that actually run.
Currently seeking full-time 2027 new-grad roles in Security, AI/ML, and Software Engineering.
